Why should I choose
PROSM?
-
To succeed in
business, it is necessary to develop strong, lasting professional
relationships.
PROSM
focuses on business development and growth through sharing resources and
referrals while expanding your sphere of influence and visibility among
your peers on a regular basis. By using at least one meeting a month to
brainstorm on marketing and business development issues, members benefit
from focused masterminding with other members. Additional meetings
include guest speakers, member spotlights, & group development.
Does PROSM
conflict with my "leads" group?
-
PROSM
has been designed and developed so that it does not conflict with
leads groups. Each group does not limit its membership to one
profession per group, and does not enforce attendance as a requirement
for membership. Each group has a degree of latitude to administer
its own personality. A structured environment of masterminding
with like-minded professionals is a benefit that other organizations do
not offer on a regular basis. The concept of
PROSM
is a combination of the benefits that are offered through service
groups, chamber organizations, & leads groups combined, without the
associated conflicts. You should check with your specific leads
group to verify that your membership to
PROSM
would not jeopardize your membership with your leads group.
What are the qualifications to join
PROSM?
-
Generally, a member is expected to have been in a career
associated with their profession for no less than 6 months.
However, membership has the authority for approval or refusal of any
proposed member.
What is the process to become a member of
PROSM?
-
Prospects are
allowed to visit any
PROSM
Group three times (with the exception of the first weekly meeting of the
month - aka the Membership Meeting), through the invitation of a current
member. During one of those meetings the prospect may choose to be
reviewed for membership by submitting the membership fee. Prior to
the next Membership meeting, the prospect will be interviewed by their
sponsor and/or another
PROSM
member. The information obtained from the interview will be
presented to the
PROSM
Group at the next Membership Meeting for a majority vote of approval or
refusal.
What makes
PROSM
different from other organizations?
-
PROSM
is by invitation only. The only way to attend a meeting is through
the invitation of an existing member. The focus of
PROSM
is business development and growth. Each meeting agenda is
structured to share resources, refer new business, and acknowledge acts
of excellence within the community. Additionally, there is a
weekly meeting rotation where guest speakers provide presentations,
members are spotlighted, and business development topics are discussed.
See the
PROSM
Meetings link above or
click here for more information on
meeting rotations.
What is the difference between a resource and a
referral?
-
PROSM
offers a forum for members to share "haves & wants". Members have
the weekly opportunity to share their personal & business needs and
resources with like-minded professionals. Resources are not a warm
referral of new business, but rather an unsolicited resource that may
benefit the membership as a whole, or a solicited need mentioned in the
"wants" portion of the meeting. By surrounding yourself with
exceptional professionals on a weekly basis, you are increasing your
sphere of influence by developing strategic relationships that will
inevitably increase your business through word of mouth marketing and
referrals. Referrals are a warm referral of new business.
Generally, a referral will be expecting a call from the person you are
referring to, and follow up is necessary.
